To be a substitute teacher for the Wayne County Schools you will need to go to the school you are interested in and speak to the secretary or principal and ask if they are taking applications for new subs.
On the top of that paperwork are instructions on what to do once that form is filled out and receives the principal's signature on the "Intent To Sub Form".
All substitutes are required to be fingerprinted and have a background check at the cost of $32.65 before being approved to work in any area in our schools.
If you would like to be a substitute in the area of custodian or cafeteria those applications can be picked up at the board of education. You will need to see Annette Beck.
