Family Resource Center

Wayne County is one of 66 counties statewide to operate a Family Resource Center (FRC). FRCs work to create partnerships between parents, communities, business leaders, state and local service agencies and public and private organizations to help school children in high risk environments. The Wayne County FRC provides services such as making home visits, providing counseling for children, and providing school supplies and other items for children in qualifying families.

If you or someone you know is in need of services, or if you or your organization is interested in working with the Wayne County FRC to help local children and families, please Center Director Amy Van Fleet or FRC Social Worker Ally Piefer at 931-722-3548 or email them at amy.vanfleet@waynetn.net or  ally.piefer@waynetn.net.
